The Village Inn
Berkshires, Lenox, Massachusetts
This authentic New England Inn was built in 1771. Its
colonial beginnings are reflected in the furnishings and it has retained its
special ambiance, while providing modern amenities for your comfort.
Stenciled wallpapers and Oriental rugs in the public rooms compliment the Innís
maple floors and Federal architecture.
All of our thirty-two guest rooms are individually furnished with country
antiques and reproductions. Each room has telephone with voice mail, TV
with VCR, CD player alarm clock, private bath, hairdryer and magnifying mirror
and most with a whirlpool tub. Many guest rooms have a four-poster canopy
bed and some have a working fireplace. Our complimentary Video Lending
Library contains a large collection of movies that you may enjoy in your room.
The Village Inn is smoke-free.
Good food goes with good company. At The Village Inn we strive to make
each meal memorable. During the summer and fall and on weekends, begin
your day with Belgian waffles, a farmerís omelet, or perhaps eggs Benedict.
Enjoy a traditional afternoon English Tea on Saturday with homemade scones and
Devonshire-style clotted cream. Dine by candlelight in our romantic dining
room and savor our chefís regional American cuisine. Our menu is full of
delicious items to delight your palette.
In the winter, ski on nearby cross-country trails or mountain slopes.
Then, snuggle up by a crackling fire with a mug of mulled cider or settle in the
Common Room for reading or a game of backgammon. Maybe youíd like to
borrow your favorite movie from our complimentary Video Lending Library and
enjoy watching it in the privacy of your own cozy room.
In the spring, stroll through nearby parks and explore picturesque back roads or
take the relaxed approach and enjoy the riot of peonies and lilacs from a rocker
on the porch.
Come visit us in any of our four New England seasons, for we never close and
always have a welcome for you.
