  Description

The Sanford House was built in 1996 to replicate a Victorian home but comes complete with all the modern conveniences and private bathes. Arlington’s premier Inn has created a perfect answer to the stresses of today’s lifestyle. From the overworked executive to the harried housewife, we offer a relaxed change of pace that promises to melt away your worries and replace them with a new appreciation for living.

Attention to detail is a hallmark of the Sanford House. From exquisitely appointed rooms and cottages to beautifully landscaped grounds, the Sanford House strives to make your stay an unforgettable experience in elegant living.

Browse through the library provided for our guests at the top of the winding staircase beneath a sunny cupola. Then nestle down with a good book (your or ours) by a roaring fire in the cozy parlor. The parlor is an elegant place to mingle with other guests in relaxed conversation.

Stroll through our beautiful garden - it refreshes the soul. Pause in one of our enchanting gazebos or by the fountain to enjoy the solitude with a good book, a morning cup of coffee, a quiet thought, a loved one… Or, refresh yourself with a dip in our lovely outdoors pool.

Our gardens mimic a French countryside complete with waterfalls, gazebos and fountains. Colors are rotated with the season making a perfect backdrop to weddings, receptions, showers, reunions, luncheons, teas and parties for any time of year.

Area businesses and organizations are finding Sanford House the ideal place for their retreats, private meetings, and other functions. We host sit-down luncheons and dinners for up to 50 guests, larger functions can be accommodated on the grounds.

Out-of-town guests or business associates will find the Sanford House a welcome change of pace from the standard hotel fare. Early risers can avail him or herself of the butler’s pantry for juice or that first cup of hot coffee and wander through the gardens or sit on the veranda in one our many cozy tables. Those late risers will welcome the delicious breakfast that awaits them in the dining room.
