This ornate, lovely home was built in 1900 by ship
builder Ferdinand Fisher and was established as a bed and breakfast in May
You will enjoy our warm and cozy sun-lit living room and
our formal dining room.
During your stay enjoy a delicious and seasonal
breakfast served in the dining room or you may choose to have it served in
the privacy of your own suite.
Six Lovely Decorated Rooms:
Majestic Suite: This spacious suite is just right for a weekend
get-away. It features a picturesque view of Astoria and the Columbia
River. The focal point of this room is its old-fashion queen canopy bed.
You will love to wake up with the morning sun streaming through the lovely
antique windows. Special features of this suite include a wet bar and a
private bath which has a clawfoot tub, dressing area, and shower. The
large balcony is just right for breakfast or to enjoy a locally purchased
afternoon or evening snack. Don't forget to watch our spectacular sunsets.
This suite may be combined with the Magnolia Retreat and/or the Enchanted
Haven to accomodate a large party.
Enchanted Haven: Step back
into the past with a stay in this quiet, cozy, inviting room. Greet the
morning as a beautiful sunrise shines through its' antique windows. You
will have a lovely view of the Columbia River and historic Astoria Column.
This room features a queen bed and private bath with a special place for
the shower and sink.
Starlight Suite: You will
feel on top of the world in this spacious suite with a breathtaking view
of the Columbia River valley. Relax in the living room area and enjoy a
warm and cozy fire in the gas fireplace. Features a special sitting area
with a telescope for viewing the stars or the Columbia River with a wet
bar for your favorite beverage. Enjoy a restful night in the lovely queen
bed. In the morning you will be awaken by one of our many beautiful
sunrises. The ultimate in luxury is yours with a bath featuring a clawfoot
tub, dressing area and separate shower. This suite also features a
television, VCR, and stereo system.
Magnolia Retreat: This is a
special cozy room for a weekend get-away. Enjoy a restful retreat on the
antique queen bed. A special feature of this room is its arched windows
which lets in the morning sun. This room may be combined with the
Enchanted Haven to accommodate a larger party.
Sweet Tranquility: Enjoy
the quiet beauty of this room. Watch the ships on the Columbia River from
your private balcony. This room features an antique, iron queen bed and
rich wood furnishings. You may wish to have your breakfast on the full
balcony or watch Astoria's gorgeous sunsets over the river.
This room boasts a spacious private bath with claw foot tub and shower.
The Hide-Away: This
charming secluded suite is on the lower level of the home and can be
entered through the bed and breakfast or by its own private entry. You
will have it all with this suite. It has a living room with queen sofa
bed, television, and VCR. The Hide-Away also features a complete kitchen
with dining area, a separate bedroom with a brass queen bed and a private
bath with shower.
