Voted “Best Small Resort in the Caribbean” by Caribbean Life Magazine, the Coral Sands Beach Resort is a secluded and undiscovered resort where soft, pink sand meets crystal clear, turquoise water to create one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world.

Conde Nast Traveler, Town & Country and Travel & Leisure all agree on that one point—that our pink sand beach is among the most beautiful in the world.

They say that the best things come in small packages and it couldn’t be truer of the Coral Sands Resort. With rates starting at $160/night, the Coral Sands has only 39 rooms and suites. Coral Sands is a top Caribbean romance destination. And it is a family friendly resort where kids under 12 stay and eat free.

Each room at the Coral Sands has its own unique charm with an eclectic mix of Caribbean colors. Each is appointed with hand-selected plantation furniture and pleasing artwork to reinforce the easy “Out Island” charm and the colorful style of the Bahamas. And each room and suite comes with quality personal care products and elegant 300-count cotton linen.

Coral Sands is nestled on eight beautiful, tropically landscaped beachfront acres with abundant palm trees and flowers that include jasmine, hibiscus and bougainvillea. And our beautiful beach is sheltered by a barrier reef that provides calmer waters and world-class snorkeling right outside your door.

Harbour Island—voted “friendliest island in the Bahamas” by Frommers and home to the Coral Sands-- is only three and one-half miles in length and has only 1,200 locals. Harbour Island is located one mile from the island of Eleuthera. It is only 20 minutes by plane from Nassau and only 175 miles and a non-stop one-hour flight from either Miami or Ft. Lauderdale.

Only a short stroll from the resort you will find Dunmore Town, an enchanting harbor front village dating back to the 1700’s. Settled more than 200 years ago by British Loyalists, it boast old churches, art galleries, quaint shops, pastel-colored houses and a unique blend of intimate colonial architecture that is combined with striking Caribbean colors.

Resort amenities include our two restaurants—one fine dine and one casual beach restaurant; fresh water pool; lighted tennis court; comfortable library with books and periodicals; nearby horseback riding on the beach; complementary use of private beach cabanas, beach chairs, kayaks and other watersports equipment.
