We are committed to offering our guests a healthful,
quiet respite from the concerns of hectic modernity. Steeped in history,
our Gilded Age manor house was built in 1911 to embrace its discriminating
guests amid the rugged grandeur of the Berkshire countryside, the
magnificence of which lured the rarified likes of Wharton, Emerson, and
Melville in the nineteenth century, and today continues to draw cultural
luminaries like Seiji Ozawa, YoYo Ma, and James Taylor, among others.
The inn is situated mere minutes from Butternut,
Catamount, Jiminy Peak and Brodie Mountain. While our special ski-lovers'
packages include complimentary lift tickets, tea & cookie afternoons, and
hearty family-style apres-ski feasts, our common rooms with their four
blazing fireplaces, reading nooks, and windows overlooking the winter
gardens are also perfect for avid couch potatoes.
Whether your lure is the arts or athletics, the solitude
of nature, or the gala celebration of your wedding, Seven Hills Inn can be
your baronial home away from home. Our spaces can accommodate professional
retreats from one (finishing your screenplay?) to one hundred and fifty
with fully-equipped meeting rooms and specially created seasonal menus.
The 1911 Manor House has fifteen guest chambers, each
furnished with its own collection of antiques and eclectic art that
reflects the quirky whims of the inn's proprietors. Most of the chambers
overlook the inn's twenty-seven acre park; many have leaded glass windows
and private fireplaces. All guestrooms have private bathrooms and are
equipped with telephones, air conditioning, cable television and personal
amenities such as irons and hair dryers.
The Terrace House's thirty-seven rooms are more modern
spaces, each overlooking the park. Like the Manor House they are quiet,
clean, light-filled and are equipped with telephones, air conditioning,
cable television and personal amenities such as irons and hair dryers.
The Inn's original Carriage House has been renovated to
create seven additional guest rooms. Situated under a canopy of trees and
next to the inn's herb garden, each suite has its own kitchenette,
fireplace and Jacuzzi.
Open year round, our restaurant is a proud,
award-winning member of Berkshire Grown and serves healthful, simple yet
elegant dishes made from local ingredients whenever the season permits.
From a custom-designed picnic basket lunch for two to a Tuscan wedding
